The Buffalo Troopers Motorcycle Club of Northwestern Illinois was established in 2015 as a proud chapter of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club (NABSTMC). This organization is made up of professional men and women who are passionate about motorcycling, committed to raising awareness of the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers, and dedicated to building stronger communities. Our colors honor the African American soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry, who courageously sacrificed their lives to help shape the nation we live in today. These colors symbolize courage, sacrifice, and honor—qualities shared by those who served in the past and those who continue to serve today. They represent a rich history, and we wear them with pride and respect. Our motorcycles, or "Iron Horses," serve as a tribute to the horses ridden by the Buffalo Soldiers during the 1800s.
